Hi site admins. Please enable the setting that allows people to view the contents of posts that have been heavily downvoted. This is not a good feature. Right now, mob rule has the power to effectively delete posts, and that will only lead to problems and toxicity down the road.

The text says “flagged by the community”, but from some investigation (back on RMW) it turns out that it’s actually an AI flagging suspicious-looking posts.
This is the “reason” provided to people who had their posts hidden:
It seems very trigger happy, flagging some really innocent posts.
Well then they should turn that off. People are already acting hostile toward these new forums, and given how much they (often irrationally) hate AI, knowing that an AI hall monitor is present is only going to make things worse.
I woke up to a backlog of flagged posts 
. I think Discourse AI flagger is scared of all the new users and instant posts. I’ll try to keep on em!

Hopefully it’s something that can be configured, maybe drop the bot’s aggression levels a couple notches!

I just made my first post of a nice and pleasant nature and I was blocked.
Very sad to see this sort of behaviour.
Unfortunately I don’t have access to those kind of settings. Trying to find someone that does.
It usually flags new users or first time posters. Once we remove the flag you should be good.
