You can’t, hahaha. Say thanks to Gotcha Games INC and KOMODO for deleting the previous site, considering how comfortable it was, and this site has already been around for about a year

The site’s purpose is to help develop games using the RPGM engine and solve technical issues. I am not sure why you would need functionality to post irrelevant stuff seeking affirmation. The DMS function works perfectly fine for contacting forum members here, and it serves the purpose just fine.
You can always bring this up to whoever runs the website to see if they are interested in adding such functionality, but personally I don’t see a point in turning this forum into some kind of social media Twitter.
It would be useful for communicating with mod creators by leaving public messages on their profiles I guess, but I don’t know, personally DMS are sufficient and most creators have their own dedicated contact channels anyways.
Add this as a suggestion.
I personally like statuses, although I’m not much of a reader.
People put too much off-topic & personal stuff in status. Leads to people venting & trauma dumping, causing drama & controversy & awkwardness. ｏ(＞＜；)○
People do all that without status anyway. If you don’t want drama/venting/etc you’d have to close the forum, lol.
