Would anyone be able to help me out with obtaining some new animations, please?

Resource Type:
Side View Skill Animations

Maker Format:
MZ

Makers I Own:
MV and MZ

Art Style:
Simple and stylish and/or over the top. Cartoonish and fun. Not really too picky as far as the “style” of skill animations. As long as they can fill a wide range of attacks, skills and oddly specific “Oh, what if I did this..” sort of skills.

Description:
I am looking for some cool skill animations to use in either Medieval/Fantasy and/or in Modern day or Sci-Fi. Basically.. the setting does not matter.
Personally… I would LOVE to turn the skill animations from “Persona 5 Royal” into Rpg Maker MZ, just feel like there are SO many cool animations in Persona 5R that can be used for any skill or situation.

I’d also love a few animations to use outside of battle.. like some visual effects akin to the visual effects seen in cartoons and anime.. the nervous sweat drops, or the angry blood vessels. I know there ARE balloon bubbles for that, but.. they are very slow and go on forever. Using skill effects, I feel would make the emotions of the situation POP a little better.

I will include a YT link for references for Persona 5R skill animations. (The video does contain spoilers, for those who are fans of the series and have not yet seen or played it yet.. Just a heads up! Just mentioning this as a “just in case” sort of thing.)

So, just to be clear: By “side view skill animations”, do you mean the Animations tab in the database? In other words, either Effekseer animations or MV animations.

I do have a couple such animations here that match RTP enemies. It doesn’t sound like they’d be what you want, but it can’t hurt to look.

If that’s not the kind of animation you were referring to, you’ll need to explain better.

Dreams Circle is a really fantastic creator of RPG Maker battle animations, for both MV and MZ. Look them up on Itch. Most of their stuff is paid (and worth it, in my opinion), but they do have a few free samples as well.
