I need help creating a Battle System similar to that from the Neptunia Series | RMMZ

I’ve been working on a fangame in RMMZ for awhile now, and recently took a break cause of irl things. At the time, I already had a battle system installed and planned out for my game.
But recently, I came to realize something and honestly it’s pretty funny.
The battle system from Hyperdimension Neptunia, of ALL places, is the EXACT kind of system I envisioned for my own game.
For context, each battle places you in a small arena with a group of enemies. Each character has a small amount of space to move around in, their weapons have a range that has the potential to target multiple enemies at once, and normal attacks consist of essentially a bunch of combos with 3 different types of skills: Rush, Break, and Power.
Of course there are box standard, hard hitting, sp skills you can use and such, but what I described above is the main stuff I’m looking for.
This short video here showcases the system itself:

So far, I’m… not too sure I have what I need. Visustella’s CTB plugin replicates the battle turn system used in Neptunia REALLY well, and even if I can’t replicate it exactly, using their Active Chain Skills plugin should help me replicate the combo skills used for normal attacks. I’ll prolly have to rework it a bit but, still!

The thing is, it’s the small open field that’s tripping me up. At first, I figured I could use just any SRPG / TBS plugin to replicate things, and that seemed like it would work at first. But on closer examination, what I was looking at was either completely at odds with Visustella or it’s own dedicated battle system that would go against ANY other battle plugin I used.

Maybe there’s a Visustella plugin that DOES add this (Not the Battle Grid System, that’s not what I’m looking for right now oof) and I some how missed it, but I figured I’d ask here.

Does anyone know about any plugin that could give me what I’m looking for?
And of course, if I need to provide more details, I’ll be sure to update the thread with them!

Nooo you can’t use any SRPG/TRPG thing, at least if you want to keep the rest of the battle system. SRPG systems are totally apart from the other battle system implementations. Some even let you have an SRPG battle living alongside with a regular RPG battle hahaha.

I think what you got should be good? But you need to figure out the move/positioning thing apart.

There’s this one, but it’s not like Neptunia, this one is more like Megaman Battle Network, in that your characters don’t move around the enemies, instead each side has their own lane, let’s say.

Yeah, this is what I’m already currently using actually, haha.

I’m currently trying to see if I can find something or make something close to Live A Live’s battle grid thing. I think it could potentially be the best of both worlds.
