Version 2.0: New Features Manual List

This is a list of manuals for new features implemented in version 2.0.
Version 2.0 is currently in beta, and these features may change without notice until the official release.
Examples: Addition of new settings, changes to property names causing reset of configured values, etc.

Notes for Using Tsukuru Mode in Existing Projects

Please ensure you have a backup before using the beta version.

:warning: Items that may affect existing projects :warning:

  • You can now add the platform’s velocity when jumping off a platform.
This uses Godot’s basic functionality, and since the default setting is on, the behavior differs significantly from versions prior to 2.0.
You can revert to the previous behavior by changing the GameObject node’s property under CharacterBody2D > Moving Platform > On Exit from “Add Velocity” to “Do Nothing.”

  • Changed the behavior of “Adjustable Jump.”

    • Even if “Adjustable Jump” or the jump key is not set in “MoveAndJumpSetting,” you can now use Adjustable Jump if it is enabled in the state. If the Adjustable Jump key is not set, the key from the previous input transition is automatically assigned as the Adjustable Jump key.
    • Fixed a bug where the Adjustable Jump would be cancelled if the state changed during the jump.
Due to these two changes, states that previously had “Adjustable Jump enabled in the state but not working because the key was not set” or “Adjustable Jump enabled but immediately interrupted by a state change” will now function correctly.

Required Adjustments

The “Asset Management” view in the new UI has default folders set via templates, so you need to change them to the folders you have been using.
You can change the default folders via Basic Settings > Project > Tsukuru > Path.
