Bee People?

[pawsplay]

Does anyone know any good resources for bee people, in the MV or MZ style? I’m looking for regular stripey bee people, as well as bumblebee people. The ideal would be characters with a somewhat fairy-looking appearance, but in bright black and yellow colors. For a bee people village. Thanks!

You likely won’t find something preexisting just because it’s so specific, so you’ll have to either 1) find a human or elf sprite in the style you want that you can recolor, or 2) ask an artist for a custom sprite sheet. Knowing exactly what you had in mind would help. A few questions that immediately come to mind:

• Are these bee people the same size as other races in your game, or are they sort of like the little guys in Harvest Moon that are half the size of a human?
• Do they have wings? For their normal movement, do they get around by walking, or do they flutter around?
• What do you mean by “regular stripey bee people” versus bumblebee people? Aren’t bumblebees also striped?

Fairly normal-sized. Short, I guess, like fairies or the Kids template. Yes on wings. Much like regular bees, they walk a lot.

There are various types of bumblebee. Where I come from, they black and yellow solids, like a sports jersey, sometimes with big spots, like so:
