Smithereens makes anything in your game break the way its material would, and it cuts every fragment out of the exact frame your event is showing, so the break matches your art in any style.
Pots burst into curved sherds. Barrels split into staves along the grain. Rocks crack into heavy chunks, crystals shatter into bright facets, ice breaks into a few wide slabs that slide, and bushes are cut down to a stub while the clippings flutter away. Seven materials in total, and the material is found from the graphic unless you name it.
Gathering nodes take visible damage before they break. Writing <smash: stone hits:3 regrow:120> in an event note makes an ore node crack a little more with every strike, knock a chip off, shake, break on the third hit, and grow back 120 seconds of play time later, even if the player leaves the map and comes back.
Three files, added to the Plugin Manager in any order, no other plugin required. Tag an event with <smash>, add the Smash event plugin command, and it breaks.
The plugin is AI written code with AI generated art, and that is disclosed on the store page.
