“Bef the Green Square” is a solo indie project created by me, Ju_De (pronounced “Jude”).

Notable Characters:
The story follows Bef, a teenage boy who was orphaned at the ripe old age of 3. He attempts to live a normal life with his little brother and cousin, but fate has other plans. Now he must accompany his cousin on an wellness check turned world-saving quest, while also trying to keep control of Xalo, a bloodthirsty demon spirit who lives within Bef (kinda venom symbiote-style) and is constantly trying to gain control of his body so he can kill everything.
Bif, the true “protagonist” of the story, and Bef’s cousin, is a young Elemental Rune Keeper. Rune Keepers are elemental deities who maintain what’s left of the planet after the human race nuked itself to extinction 30,000 years ago. Bif is a keeper of the Light Rune, which is the most powerful of all elements (Cosmic, Thunder, Water, Plant, Fire, Earth, Ice, and Light). She was raised by her adoptive father, Satoru, until the age of 13, when she moved in with Bef. Her powers, as well as the advanced training she received from childhood, gives her immense physical strength, which she has used to pursue a successful martial arts career.
After a somewhat concerning weather forecast, Bif decides to perform a wellness check on Astro, the Keeper of the Cosmic Rune, to make sure everything’s alright. However, she ends up biting off more than she can chew, as this simple wellness check ends up becoming a whole adventure to save the world.
Devrii is a rather timid Shadow Pixie. She resides within the Forest Ring, which separates the Central Region from the rest of the elemental regions. Though she’s small (only 4.5" tall, or roughly 11.4 cm), she possesses decently powerful magic, which she uses to try and put a stop to Shanza’s mischeif.
Shanza is a fucking bitch.
