Error message when loading RPG Maker MZ

I recently updated my mac to Tahoe 26.6.2

When i tried to load RPG Maker MZ on Steam I got an error message

“RPG Maker MZ” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

I’m not sure what to do?

Fair point

When I updated my mac, it placed RPG Maker MZ behind Mac’s Gatekeeper. There are several ways to get around this, but they were all failing, The only solution that worked was going into my privacy and security settings.

-System Settings
-Privacy and Security
-Near the bottom there’s a security category that will list which programs were recently blocked.
-Force it to open.

Then it worked
