Making an introductory topic here before the old forums end and my forgetfulness of a new place begins.
Sad to see it go, but I guess the important part is we still have a place to share our material. However confusing, unorganized, and custom-tagless it may be.
I’ll update this thread once I have more of my own game to share, but for the time being while it’s still up, you can catch up on my Power Master development here: MV - Power Master: A Strange Journey MV | RPG Maker Forums You can also find links to my own materials in my signature.
Now to find the rules so I can figure out what I can and can’t post here lol

Heh I was thinking about, like, if it’s part of the culture here to make introductory posts, or have stuff like “what are you listening”, what are you doing in gamedev today, and so on.
Anyway welcome! And I’m new to this site too.

I’ll definitely miss the personal status updates. Unless that’s something we can do here?
New here, still debating whether to buy RPG Maker MZ.
My main engine is RPG Maker MV, and MZ appears to just be a better version of that. It goes on sale frequently, so if you aren’t sure about spending a ton of money on it, you can wait for when the price drops

I’m not entirely sure how to start a topic regarding my own game. The tags seem not that clear and there’s only, like, two categories? When it comes to games in development, the organization is just confusing.
So I’m not going to bother with it.
Updates on my game will be on this forum instead: MV - Power Master: A Strange Journey MV | RM Planet Forums
You can also join my personal Discord, visit my wiki, and of course visit the place where the games themselves are.
Or you can hang around here on the off chance I remember this place exists and update this thread here with minimal information, because I’m also not sure how this site utilizes security against AI / LLM learning. I’m not too comfortable sharing images or a lot of information here at the moment.
The game itself is almost done with the main content, though! Just one more town to make, the final area, before I handle all the side quests and additional materials.

tl;dr You select RPG Maker, select Showcase as subcategory, then add the tag that corresponds to your game’s engine (i.e. MV).
Then make sure to add your game’s language, I believe the only ones the forum has are English, Chinese and Japanese. If your game supports more than one of these I’d assume you can add all your game supports.
I did update the category and tags here, but they don’t feel as helpful as the forum’s. And everything is just kind of thrown together anyway that it doesn’t seem worth it to make a new thread, so I’ll just continue this one.
