Rpg2000 & rpg2003

Will there no longer be support for RPG Maker 2000 versions 1.5x or 1.6x?
And for RPG Maker 2003 purchased on Steam how can I ask for help with creating a project?

Right here is the place for the project help. The RPG Maker category covers the whole series, 2000 and 2003 included. The old rpgmakerweb forum went read only back in June and closes in December, so this is where those questions land now.

On the support side, I haven’t seen anything about either one being dropped, and both are still listed as current products in the GGG terms as of the June update. The official English release of 2000 on Steam is the 1.6x line, so that’s the supported one.

Could you say a bit more about what you mean by support though? Editor patches, help building your project, and anything on the licensing end all point somewhere different. For the product level stuff the official contact form is here: https://rpgmakerofficial.com/en/contactform/

I need help creating an full event and with requested graphics creation, something that other users have usually done due to their more in-depth knowledge

For the event itself, a thread in the RPG Maker category with a screenshot of what you’ve built so far is the fastest route. Mention whether you’re on 2000 or 2003, the event commands differ a bit between them.

Some places worth a look while you wait.

rpgmaker.net has a tutorial section just for 2003, plus a resources section, and that community still runs heavily on the classic makers:

There’s a Steam guide that walks through actual event builds, chests with loot, doors that close behind you, party members joining and leaving:

For graphics, OpenGameArt and itch.io’s asset section both have a lot of free pixel art:

One thing to know before digging into those two, 2000 and 2003 use fixed sheet layouts for charsets and chipsets, so a lot of packs need rearranging before the editor will take them. Worth checking the license on anything you grab as well, some ask for credit.
