I’m bringing a very large concern to attention here.
When Degica rebranded and changed its name to Kodomo, they allowed their old official Degica Shop URL to expire rather than redirecting it to their new webpage. Their old URL now redirects to a malware site where I’ve seen new users have their computers infected because of this.
This is very irresponsible on Kodomo’s part, and I’m very disappointed that they didn’t think this through when letting that domain expire. The expense it would have taken to keep that URL is not worth further damaging the trust of their users and future clients (who are likely no longer going to be clients after this).

I can confirm that the specific page above is malicious, but it looks like the parent Degica Shop site redirects to the same malware.
I’m hoping Kodomo sees this post and takes action to keep their old URLs more secure in the future.

Oh man that’s gonna cause some issues if they can’t get it back/it stays malware! I wonder if that’s where that rumor of RPG Maker(s) ( games) being malware came from I saw on another site a bit ago!

No, I don’t think that’s related. If you’re thinking of what I think you’re thinking of, it was someone recognizing a real exploit within the RPGMaker software – the fact that it can execute potentially-untrusted code when loading a saved game.
Not even a month since RMWeb closure and it’s already crumbling and rotting. 
(I know RMWeb and degicashop aren’t exactly the same place but…).
BTW, is the Kodomo/Komodo misspelling intentional? xD

Oh, good that that has an official advisory now. (EN, JP)
Means I can publish my mitigation plugin without first going through the trouble of reporting it through the Japanese government 
(I still need to finish it up, though. I think I got the general principle right, but haven’t really tested it yet since filling out the forms in Japanese was difficult, and then I got distracted by life for several months.)
