Formulary reads the crafting recipes you have already written and draws each one as a formulary page. The reagents are set as glyphs in a graduated ring, their proportions show as an arc and as notation, the process becomes the vessel the diagram is built on, and the result is struck at the centre.
Nothing in it is a picture file. 58 hand authored motifs across four axes combine into 33,600 distinct plate forms, and nine palettes take that to 302,400. There is no PNG, no atlas and no icon sheet, so a plate is drawn at whatever size it is needed rather than scaled from a bitmap.
The plates come from your own data, which means a four ingredient recipe draws four different glyphs. A plate’s information content rises with the recipe’s own complexity instead of being fixed when the art was made.
Install is four files into js/plugins, added in this order: FormularyGlyphs.js, FormularyPlate.js, FormularyRecipes.js, Formulary.js. If one is missing or loads too late the plugin disables itself and prints which file is absent to the console rather than half working.
RPG Maker MZ. $14.99 on itch, with the raw readable source and a licence for commercial games included.
Disclosure, since it matters and I would rather say it up front: everything CSAF ships is written by AI. Code yes, graphics yes, sounds no, text yes.
