Fetch is an RPG Maker MZ plugin for doppelganger bosses. When the fight starts it copies your party into real enemies. Each twin carries its hero’s live level, stats, equipment, traits and learned skills, so the boss the player meets is the party they built.

Each twin is drawn from that hero’s own battler sheet in one of ten looks: shadow, void, mirror, ink, ember, frost, phantom, gilded, glitch and crimson. Each look is a different structure rather than a recolour, and it is drawn on every frame of the sheet, so all 18 side view motions work.
A twin chooses its moves from its hero’s kit and from what the player has actually used that hero for over the whole save. A healer twin can answer an ally that dropped this turn.
There are three ways to start a fight: a plugin command, an armed Battle Processing that keeps your If Win branch, or an enemy note you place in any troop. No image files ship and nothing is copied into your database by hand. Every twin is made when the battle starts and is gone when it ends.
Tested on MZ core 1.10.0 in turn based battles and both Time Progress modes, side view and front view. MV is not supported. It is not tested with VisuStella Battle Core.
The code and the look of every twin were written with AI assistance. The heroes in these pictures come from our own Wildmark sprite packs, which are AI generated, and the hall is an AI illustration. Neither ships. No sound and no narrative text ship.
It is $6.99 in the itch Halloween sale until 4 November, regular price $9.99.
