Drifts to the left upon landing

When landing on a tile, the protagonist shifts to the left. The following points were verified:

  • The issue does not occur on terrain with multiple tiles aligned side by side, but occurs on isolated tiles that protrude like a bump or floating tiles.
  • The issue does not occur when landing on objects with collision shapes of nearly the same form, but only on tiles.
  • The issue also occurs on slope tiles.
  • The protagonist shifts to the left regardless of which direction they are facing.

Thank you for the report.

I attempted to reproduce the issue in a minimal project, but it did not occur…

I also tried it with the project you previously provided, but the issue did not arise. Are there any special settings required, such as tile shapes?

I don’t think so, and I haven’t changed it before either.

Here are the test results from the project we received.

We repeatedly jumped on a single tile that was placed. The displayed string represents the X-coordinate. Are there any errors in this testing method?

If it can’t be fixed, that’s fine.

I would like to fix the bug, but it is difficult to identify the cause of issues that cannot be reproduced on my end…

I cannot force you to cooperate, so I will record that this issue occurred and will fix it if it can be reproduced.

The bug where rubbing against a wall allows you to land mid-air also had very high reproducibility on our end, but it did not reproduce on yours. It must be that mysterious tool that works perfectly on the developer’s PC—Action Game Maker.
