Do not shut down the forums.

Actual insanity to delete 14 years of community discussions, plugins and tutorials. If you delete the forums you delete the RPG maker community itself.

At the bare minimum you need to migrate the old content here, or leave the old one open as a archive to read through.

The old forum is very interactive and easy to navigate, I really regret their decision.

Perhaps that was the goal all along: to wipe out resources and discard history.

At present, the official response is that they do not have the authority to move those items here.

I really hope someone is working to archive everything ASAP. Moving is one thing, erasure is another thing entirely.

The Wayback Machine website could help us archive the forums.

but it can be due basically to the Ownership of the forum and they cant go forward with it.

Reason why we should also be reaching out to Komodo via the support email that was left on the closure notice. We should let them know that they should keep the data up, especially since they’re keeping the store up and that store will sell products that may need compatibility solutions that may exist on the forums.
