I don’t know if this is a bug or if this is by design or I’m doing something wrong, but I noticed when I import a tileset that well is actually above 40x40, I was playing with numbers, it doesn’t work. All it will do under the terrain tab is show Terrain Set but nothing to select to use the auto tileset. I’ve tried reloading the project, creating another map, and creating another game to make sure it’s not mine but nothing. I even used an official tileset from one of the tutorials. As soon as I set the size to 48x48, it doesn’t work
I tested it on my end, and even a 48x48 image was successfully converted to an autotile.
I suspect it might be due to some mistake in the loading process…
Just in case, here are the steps:
- Set the tile size to 48x48.
- In the TileSet tab, load the image as the tile source.
- At this point, automatically create an atlas with a 48x48 size.
- Load it as an autotile.

I figured it out. It looks like it was the image. I tried something else and it worked. Thanks for taking a look though!
