I lost my original DS when I was transferring my game to another computer. Now, I’m not sure which one belongs to my DS pack and which other facesets I DL elsewhere.
Do you mean the DS Resource Pack or DS+?
You should be able to get the pack back rather than work it out from memory. If you bought it on Steam it installs next to VX Ace itself at steamapps\common\RPGVXAce\dlc\RPGMakerDSresource, so it should come back down on its own once the DLC is enabled, or you can right click VX Ace and verify the files. If it came from the store instead of Steam, it should still be in your account order history to redownload.
Once you have it back, compare its Faces folder against the one in your project. Anything that doesn’t have a match in the pack came from somewhere else.
No, I got it from the old rpgmaker webstore. Which was shut down.
Ah dang, that store’s purchase history didn’t come across when it shut down. Komodo Plaza is the shop now, and their notice about the old site closing said order history and re downloads for anything bought before August 2020 weren’t part of the migration. If yours was bought after that it might be sitting in a Komodo Plaza account instead, so that’s worth a look first.
Past that I’d dig up the original order email, since the key or order number is what support would ask for. You can reach them through the Komodo Plaza contact on https://www.rpgmakerweb.com/contact-us and ask if they can pull up an old order.
In the meantime you could post the filenames from your project’s Faces folder here. If they haven’t been renamed, someone who owns the pack could probably tell you which ones came from it.
I tried all that. I contacted Komodo Plaza they said there was nothing they could do. That e-mail order is long gone. At least 5 years back. I reached out to RPG Maker Web; same answer. I dont want to get in trouble for reposting what I have.
Oh sorry I didn’t mean post the actual assets here, I just meant list the file names because you were wondering which ones are from which packs. I assumed the file names alone could get you in the right direction.
I might have renamed them. I just have actor01. All the way up to actor24. Then people01 to people 02. Then a large number are missing. I might have just renamed them. But it restarted from people17 to people28. IDK if that is the official name.
