I am unable to create a shortcut for Any State. Is this by design?
I would like to use it like the Common Events in Action Game Tsukuru MV, but I am already overwhelmed by the sheer number of links and have ended up with a tangled mess.
Is there a method I might have overlooked?
It seems to be a specification.
I have also submitted this as a request in the past.
Currently, the size itself can be increased in VS, so it seems we can only do something like widening the spacing between links as much as possible.

As you said, it seems the only option is to make the size as large as possible.
I hope it gets implemented in the future… For now, I’ll give up and continue working with the daisy-chained setup.
AnyState shortcuts are being considered for requests, but due to the necessary specification changes, it is taking time. We will check the current status and push the update if possible.
