When I create a 50x30 map and set a custom image as the background, I am unable to change the initial position from the original grassland map’s starting point, even after repeatedly setting it. Movement also becomes impossible. This issue persists even after deleting and recreating the save data for test play. No plugins are installed.
You might be encountering an issue with map accessibility. However, since you mentioned that you aren’t using any plugins, I suspect you may not yet be familiar with some basic operations of the editor.
I recommend following the built-in tutorials in the editor to get started.
It seems the issue was that the image size was 8k. Thank you for your answer.
