I created a screen transition between two maps and it worked fine but it looks weird. When the character hits the portal the camera moves to another location and then fades out. The second map fades in and then the camera moves on that map and then the character teleports in. Not sure if there is a camera setting that I’m missing or a portal setting. It looks kind of weird.
Can you take an image of the enter/exit settings for the portals involved? Or is this the regular scene transitions using End Scene?
It looks like both. If I do portal and end scene it does this weird things with the camera so maybe its a camera settings? Here are the screen shots of what my portal settings look like and what it looks like when I do the teleport.

Portal settings:
What are you the Entrance settings for the portal that you are entering? One thing that is different between AGMaker and PGM is that the Exit settings is for when that portal is exited and the entrance portal is for when you enter onto that portal. So you setup exit settings in the portal you are leaving and you setup entrance settings in the portal you are entering. My wonder is if the portal you are entering has No Set on the entrance and so you may have no fade in black like you are using for the exit.
I never used PGM so this is all still new to me. I have a portal listed under Transition Portal on both maps. I did notice something odd though with my last test. I set the zoom out so I could see a lot more of the map and noticed it does this during the teleport. Is that supposed to happen? It seems like the camera is moving to that second image on the left.
Figured it out! Under project settings I had the Stretch mode as disabled. When I changed it to viewport the transition worked without issue!
Okay. I lied. There is still an issue. So what I found was in project settings if the scale is set to 2 or above and the scale mode is integer then the screen transition messes up. If the scale mode is set to fractional then anything above a 1 with the scale messes up. Is that a glitch?
