Is this a bug with the "embedded in wall detection" condition?

I am testing a project completed in the new tutorial.
The link from the “Air” state to the “Idle” state for the player character’s VS is currently set to only “Contact with Tile.” However, when I add “OR” and include “Embedded in Wall Collision” (Type: Self), the first jump works fine, but for the second jump and beyond, the character enters the idle animation while in the air with no wall collision.

When I display the collision shapes in debug mode, it appears that an unknown collision is being generated during the first jump.
Could this be a bug related to the “Embedded in Wall Collision” condition?
